Our unique low temperature IR guns are the tool-of-choice for specialized applications where a distance reading is required. 

These high quality instruments are useful in special cases where extreme low temperature variable surrounding air temperatures or packaging materials may mask the actual response desired from the product.  The Raytec IR sensor array is not as susceptible to pattern changes in the thermal signal, so you can use this instrument for rapid and highly accurate readings without the need for "soak time".

Both of these use a standard 9V alkaline battery.  Each displays the maximum reading with a button push.

The "ring of dots" actually outlines the specific sensed area that is targeted by the instrument.  No guessing: if the target is in the ring, you will capture the temperature there.
