The probe swings out from its storage slot on the reverse side of the
instrument. As shown, the probe can be used to determine core
temperatures of softer materials for cross indexing with IR scan
temperatures. The integral probe is a thermocouple sensor type with
excellent accuracy and repeatability...this is important for its use as
a cross indexing reference for IR measurements. |
