AllQA TRIX-8 was the first digital temperature recorder to use the "credit card format".  Small size is more than an interesting feature.  TRIX-8 is easy to mail and ship.  It fits in container spaces that limit other temperature recorders due to odd or bulky shapes.

The unique external sensor makes the responsiveness of the TRIX-8 better than other temperature loggers.  The thermistor element actually senses temperature outside of the logger case (see image at right).  This permits the capture of more detail in the thermal history of the monitored environment.

Simple controls on the face of the logger allow the user to start logging or mark the record during a recording episode (to signal a specific event or time point).

Using the LogTag Interface and LogTag Analyzer Software, you can control all aspects of performance, including delayed start, sampling interval, number of readings, continuous or fixed number of readings and configuration of conditions to activate the ALERT indicator. We use a specialized micro-perforated stainless steel membrane to protect the sensor.  This is actually a very thin sheet of metal with extremely small holes punched through.  Water cannot pass through and contaminate the sensor element (a drop of water is actually harmful to most humidity sensors).  Despite the small holes, the sensor has no error or lag time in sensing humidity.  Another significant enemy of delicate humidity sensing elements is fine dust.  The aperture size of the micro-perforations in the LogTag's protective screen are so small that dust cannot pass through.  The result of this protection (unique to LogTag) is a longer sensor life between recalibrations and better data.

We supply all units with a prior calibration checkup.  Ask us about our recalibration service.  Recalibration is essential for maintenance of humidity sensing accuracy.

All temperature humidity sensors must have a parallel temperature sensor at the position of the humidity sensor. 

The normal LogTag sensor is different in kind and position from the sensor that is integral to the LogTag Humidity logger uses to sense humidity and has a different reading accuracy than a "non-humidity" LogTag.

Accuracy is a function of the range of humidity sensing. 
Best accuracy is obtained between 20% RH and 80% RH,
as shown here.
